Master Class in Pathology 2021
We are hosting a free virtual conference for residents and fellows on PathPresenter with an all-star faculty from around the globe.
Master Class in Pathology 2021 offers in-person and pre recorded lectures from the leaders in Pathology. The lectures cover multiple sub specialty topics and provide cutting edge updates in Molecular, General and Digital Pathology topics. The conference will keep you abreast of the latest scientific developments and advise you on how to approach your cases effectively. A once in a lifetime learning opportunity for attendees from around the world for interactive learning with the experts.
The attendees will be able to preview all the cases that the faculty will use in their presentations. The theme of the conference is how an expert will approach these cases. The presentations will be available as recorded videos after the conference. Hopefully, your trainees can take advantage of this great learning experience where they can preview, review and post review the cases. Here is a link to the free registration.

Social Media Subcommittee DS mod RFTM
Dear Colleagues
At the recent IAP Education and Executive Committee meetings, the attached proposal from our Past President Dietmar Schmidt was accepted. It has been slightly modified after the meeting to reflect discussions. We are now in the process of identifying members of the Social Media Subcommittee and would like to hear from members around the world who have a particular interest and expertise in this very important area.
Please forward contact details for any of your Division/Assembly members who would be keen to join this group. In the first instance please send the information to Ghazi Zaatari, Chair of the Education Committee (zaatari@aub.edu.lb) and Past President Dietmar Schmidt (dischmi57@gmail.com), copying in the IAP Secretariat (secretary@iapcentral.org).
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes

Dear Colleagues
I have been recently honored to serve as the Chair of IAP’s Education Committee for the coming term. I am enthusiastically looking forward to working with all IAP Divisions to advance the workings of the Committee and the mission of IAP in education.
There is an initiative to map out the educational activities that are sponsored by the various divisions of IAP and share this information with IAP members. Therefore, I appreciate informing me of any such events in order to update the database at the webpage of the Education Committee. With the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more congresses are being held virtual which in a way may allow more pathologists-in-training to attend. As a matter of fact, several organizers of such events have already offered attendance to trainees at reduced or no registration fees. These forums have proved to be effective and instructive.
Moreover, I welcome any suggestions or proposals for consideration by the Education Committee. Thanks in advance; kindest regards,
Ghazi Zaatari, MD
